In statistica esistono vari metodi per stabilire l’adattabilità di una curva di distribuzione di probabilità a un campione di osservazioni di una variabile casuale. Il “test di Pearson”, ad es, consente di verificare l’appartenenza di una certa distribuzione di dati a una determinata legge di distribuzione della probabilità, ad esempio una “gaussiana”. In un certo senso la MT ("Marius Theory") funziona da test di “attendibilità” delle teorie gravitazionali attualmente in corso di studio, verifica e sperimentazione da parte della comunità scientifica “ufficiale”, in quanto la sua falsificazione incrementa esponenzialmente la probabilità che tali teorie siano verosimili. Per questo, piu’ che teoria alternativa, la MT è una teoria “ombra”, un governo di “opposizione” democratica (anche se la scienza, giustamente, non lo è) pronto a intervenire, in caso di crisi “istituzionale”, per indicare un percorso alternativo da seguire per la ricerca e la sperimentazione.
Mi rendo conto che i concetti esposti in questo blog possono risultare ostici per chi si attiene rigorosamente ai precetti dell'ortodossia scientifica. D’altronde mi pare inutile far finta di niente o nascondere la testa sottoterra. Osservazioni, evidenze sperimentali (e ancora di piu' mancate evidenze) alla base dello stesso metodo scientifico, piuttosto che un’attenta analisi di leggi e teorie fisiche universalmente riconosciute e accettate conducono, a mio parere, in maniera inequivocabile alle apparentemente “eretiche” conclusioni di questa teoria, se non altro per mera esclusione di modelli logicamente e scientificamente irricevibili, ma difesi tout court dal "mainstream" scientifico. Peraltro il confronto con “addetti ai lavori”, svolto per lo piu’ privatamente, ha rafforzato sempre piu’ le ipotesi alla base della teoria, sia quando ha comportato delle critiche, risultate quasi sempre scientificamente inconsistenti in quanto prive di contenuti di merito, sia quando ha rivelato che in realtà molte delle considerazioni fatte sono condivise “in pectore”, ma restano inespresse perchè, come si suol dire, non “scientifically correct”.
L’ideatore della teoria è Marius che non potendo vantare grande credito scientifico, si è avvalso della collaborazione di piu' autorevoli personaggi tra cui Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, James Maxwell, Niels Bohr, Max Planck, Louis De Broglie, Richard Feynman, Werner Heisemberg, Alain Aspect, David Bohm, Erwin Shroedinger e tanti altri, e si è fatto aiutare da un ingegnere, il sottoscritto, per estrarre il succo di questo sontuoso “brain storming” seguendo il “fil rouge” della gravità.
Il risultato è quello che segue.

In statistics there are several methods to determine the suitability of a probability distribution curve to a sample of observations of a random variable. The "Pearson test", for example, allows you to check the membership of data distribution to a law of probability distribution, such as a "Gaussian". In a sense, the MT ("Marius Theory") functions as a test of "credibility" of the gravitational theories currently under investigation, verification and testing by the "official" scientific community because its failure exponentially increases the probability that these theories are plausible. For this reason, more then an alternative theory MT is a "shadow" theory, such as a democratic opposition government (even if science, rightly, it is not) prepared to intervene in a "institutional" crisis to indicate an alternative path forward for research and experimentation.
I realize that the concepts presented in this blog may be hard for those who firmly adheres to the precepts of scientific orthodoxy. On the other hand it seems to me pointless to pretend that nothing happened, or hide the head underground. Observations, experimental evidence (and even more failed ones) underlying the scientific method itself, rather than careful analysis of laws and universally recognized and accepted physical theories lead, in my opinion, unequivocally the seemingly "heretical" conclusions of this theory, if only for mere "exclusion "of models logically and scientifically "inadmissible", but defended tout court by the mainstream science. Moreover, the comparison with "experts ", mostly done privately, has strengthened more and more assumptions underlying the theory, both when he led the criticism, almost always scientifically proved inconsistent due to not substantive content, and when he revealed that in reality many of these considerations are shared "in pectore", but remain unexpressed because, as it uses to say, not "scientifically correct".
The author of the theory, that is Marius, could not boast of great scientific credit, sought cooperation of most “credible” people, including Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, James Maxwell, Niels Bohr, Max Planck, Louise De Broglie, Richard Feynman, Werner Heisemberg, David Bohm, Alain Aspect, Erwin Shroedinger and many others, and has get help from an engineer, myself, to extract the juice of this magnificent "brain storming" following the "fil rouge" of gravity.
